Richard Coords, “Psalm 37:12-13”

“The wicked plots against the righteous and gnashes at him with his teeth. The Lord laughs at him, for He sees his day is coming.”

Similarly, Psalm 2:2-6 states: “The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers take counsel together against the Lord and against His Anointed, saying, ‘Let us tear their fetters apart and cast away their cords from us!’ He who sits in the heavens laughs, the Lord scoffs at them. Then He will speak to them in His anger and terrify them in His fury, saying, ‘But as for Me, I have installed My King upon Zion, My holy mountain.’”

If God decreed whatsoever comes to pass, including the folly of the wicked, as Calvinists teach, then would Calvinists have God be laughing at His own decree? How would a holy and righteous God find humor in unconditionally creating people to be evil?
