God 100% saves those who trust in Him. We do the trusting, God does the saving. If we could save ourselves, we wouldn’t need to trust in Christ to save us, now would we? If we receive a gift from someone does that mean the gift was 1% of us and 99% of the giver? Of course not. The gift is still 100% of the giver. Freely receiving the gift doesn’t change that at all. Such shallow logic.

“Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation. However, to the man who does not work but trusts God who justifies the wicked, his faith is credited as righteousness.” (Rom 4:4-5)
