In my previous video, I built a case for believing that a genuine believer can forfeit his faith, become an unbeliever, and lose his salvation. I made this case using passages outside of the book of Hebrews. But in this video, we are going to focus on the warnings within the book of Hebrews. It is the typical Arminian position that these warnings are addressed to genuine believers and that the warnings are against forsaking faith and so losing one’s salvation. This video will evaluate and critique alternate interpretations. I am dedicating an entire video to just these passages because of the sheer number of proposed alternatives. This is a through examination of the warnings in Hebrews. The video below can be accessed on YouTube at https://youtu.be/PpQgIm-_c1w?list=PLzjQv4A03oikXdAS-s1VSmrrgbCsu3Btc.
