An Inquiry into Soteriology from a Biblical Theological Perspective - Those who are interested in contemporary Wesleyan studies may be interested in the Wesleyan Theological Perspectives series. Written for an academic audience, the authors seek to restate Wesleyan theology through a series of papers collected into topical books while avoiding contemporary innovation. The series was launched in 1981 by Warner Press clearly in the hope to develop greater awareness in Wesleyan theological thought. As it relates to our interaction with Calvinism, the first book in the series, An Inquiry into Soteriology from a Biblical Theological Perspective (ISBN: 0871622408), is useful in building a biblical theology of soteriology.

Daniel Gracely: Calvinism: A Closer Look: Evangelicals, Calvinism , and Why No One’s Answering the Problem of Evil, published by Grandma’s Attic Press, © 2006-2009 -- Please note that the author of this book is not an Arminian, but that we have provided a link to the book because it has some good material related to the Arminian/Calvinist debate. SEA does not necessarily endorse everything in the book and disagrees with some of what Gracely says. In the author's words, the book "is about sophisticated ways Calvinists (unwittingly) falsify certain things about the Bible, despite the appearance of telling the truth. I know about this, because for many years I was a Calvinist, and that is what I did."
